Surveys have indicated that a majority of people feel more fear imagining public speaking than imagining standing before a firing squad. The Center for Learning and Engagement Director, Lindsay Pontius spent years of her career as an actor working with Master Teacher and Author of the most used voice text, Freeing The Natural Voice, Kristin Linklater and many of her designated voice teachers. As an actor, she has had to perform in outdoor theater for a thousand people with no microphone.In this class, Lindsay will lead you through the Linklater progression and offer fun and engaging opportunities to practice sharing your voiced thoughts with expression, nuance and generosity.
