Acting Through Song: A Musical Theater Intensive (for Adults!)
Discover (or rediscover) the thrill of performing! Whether you’re brand-new to singing or already comfortable on stage, Acting Through Song invites you to dive into the heart of musical theater: telling a story through song.
Each participant will choose one song to explore, with coaching focused on expression, storytelling, and connection rather than “perfect notes.” You’ll have space to take risks, grow as a performer, and surprise yourself along the way.
Think of it as a theater playground for adults — a chance to stretch creatively, recharge, and share in the joy of making art together. The workshop wraps up with a cabaret-style performance where you can step into the spotlight in a come-as-you-are, celebratory setting.
This class will be led by Vanessa Dunleavy, a local 500 hour certified yoga instructor, dancer, and singer, with a passion for stroytelling and the arts.
