Creative Dance Ballet Blend
In this class children will discover the joy of expressing themselves physically through dance. They will also have fun creating their own movements and learning a dance. They will develop proper body alignment, balance, flexibility and musicality through learning ballet basics. At the end of the session there will be an informal studio presentation.
This class is taught by Evelyne Germain who trained at Boston Conservatory of Music, Ballets Jazz Montreal,Theatre Ballet of Canada (apprentice) and with Shelley Ismail among others. She loves working with children and believes exposing young dance students to ballet technique as well as creative dance gives them a balanced and solid foundation to move with freedom and strength. She holds a B.S. in Education.
