Taiji Quan/ Qigong for Beginners

Here’s a chance to step away from the usual day-to-day activities and retreat to an experience of slow, steady and quiet movements. Listening, breathing, following...increasing balance, coordination, flexibility and resilience, reclaiming a sense of wholeness and ease.  

 

Each class begins with warm-up exercises followed by form practices.  The curriculum focuses on the Eight Pieces of Brocade Qigong and postures from Yang Style Taiji Quan.  Each class ends with standing or sitting meditation.

 

No experience is necessary, only the key ingredients of curiosity and a willingness to try this unique method of exercise and approach to health and wellbeing
