East Coast Swing (Intermediate Class)

Intermediate East Coast Swing- Three Week Session

Wednesdays 7-8:15pm

Already know the basic six-count pattern and have a little dance floor experience? This class will take your East Coast Swing to the next level! Please tell us if you are a lead or follow or it doesn’t matter. 

You’ll learn:

• More advanced turn patterns
• Variations with some 8 count Lindy hop patterns 
• Techniques for smoother leading and following 

Perfect for dancers ready to expand their repertoire, improve partner connection.

A note from instructor David Rose: "I learned to dance in San Francisco during the swing dance craze some 20 years ago.  I was taught and studied under many world class dancers and teachers. 

I specialize in swing, East Coast, Lindy Hop, Balboa and Collegiate Shag. I have traveled throughout the US and Europe teaching and dancing.  Since arriving in Vt. 12 years ago I have taught dance at Middlebury College, St Michael's College, the Waldorf schools and  many of our Town Halls from North Nero to Brandon.  I love to dance and want to share this art form with as many students as possible."
