Intro to Pole

Learn the basics of pole dance technique, safety, and strength in this 4-week course for beginners. The course will cover beginner-level holds, spins, and moves both on and off the pole. 

Participants should bring: water, a yoga mat or towel, and a small washtowel/rag to wipe down your pole. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing that can be adjusted to expose skin from the knees and elbows down. No body lotions or jewelry, please.

HaQuyen Pham tried her first pole class in 2019 and was immediately hooked. As someone trained in both dance and weightlifting, she loves the combination of strength and movement in pole, in addition to the wide range of styles, abilities, and bodies that are showcased in the pole community.
