There are so many features of board games that make them compelling. Maybe it's the strategy and gameplay, maybe its the storytelling in it, maybe its the beauty of the pieces or the enjoyment in moving them.
In this single day class, students can work independently or in pairs to design and construct a board game. We will practice play testing and redesigning them, we will design rule books and boxes for them.
By the end of the day, the students should take home an original, playable game.
From 4:30-6pm, students will take a break to go an get dinner on their own time! Dinner will not be provided by THT. We will reconvene at THT at 6pm.
Parents and families can come at 7:30pm for an exhibition of the finished games.
