Camp Comedy
Have teens? Are a teen? Union Comedy is now offering comedy camps for preteens and teens, all summer long. Tell everyone!
In each week-long session, our experienced improv instructors will show aspiring comedians ages 11-17 how to master the long form improv style in Union’s curriculum. They’ll explore the tools they need on and off stage. Confidence. Creativity. Collaboration. Every day, campers get to play a variety of skill-based improv exercises, uniquely curated for their age group. This may include activities that highlight building group mind, character worldviews, how to take care of the team & more. At the end of the week, campers get the chance to show off their skills in a camper showcase for friends & families.
Exercises and activities may vary between the 2 age groups (11-13 & 14-17), however every week will focus on building support, trust, risk-taking…and fun??? Our instructors have years of experience teaching kids of all ages, They are experts at supporting various learning styles, challenging you to get a little weird, creating a safe space to fail at a new skill.
