Emerging artists and development of new works will be showcased in “The Emergence Festival of New Works”, an annual celebration of new work created and performed by Napa Valley College students, alumni, faculty and staff.
This opportunity is for the community to enjoy works by artists showcasing their new plays, screenplays, monologues, dance pieces, music compositions, songs, poems, films, visual arts, and more.

NVC faculty and talented musicians from the Napa community and beyond present monthly recitals of instrumental and vocal repertoire ranging from classical to musical theater and popular music.
Students studying Applied Music at Napa Valley College will be featured in a Student Recital on that will include a wide range of musical styles.

Napa Valley College Performing Arts in association with Shakespeare Napa Valley and Festival Napa Valley present a ravishing new musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic story of chance encounters and self-discovery. This immersive dream-like tale of faithful friends, a fantastical place of transformation, feuding families and lovers in disguise captivates with chance encounters, profound self-discovery, and a fun indie-pop musical score.
Directed by Jennifer King, Music Direction by Dr. Christina Howell.
The production features Festival Napa Valley Artist in Residence, Ashley Garlick (Actors' Equity Association) as Rosalind, members of various Napa Community Groups as the "Community of Arden," local choral ensembles as the "Choirs of Arden," and Napa area Youth and Teens as the "Children of Arden" alongside Napa Valley College students who make up the core cast of this production.

¡Viva Mariachi! at Napa Valley College offers a unique opportunity for our community to learn how these programs are thriving throughout the U.S because of their effective role in student success, all while enriching the cultural vitality and musical traditions of their institutions and surrounding communities.
Featuring three award-winning groups; Mariachi Luz de Oro (UC Berkeley, CA), Mariachi Aztlán (Pueblo High School, Tucson, AZ), and Mariachi Las Mariposas (Garfield High School, East Los Angeles, CA).
