Kicking off the evening, ASHLYN, a fourteen-year-old rising country artist from Northwest Indiana, will take the stage at 7:00pm. Ashlyn has been captivating audiences since the age of five and made national headlines after performing alongside country superstar Gabby Barrett. She has since opened for big names like Creed Fisher, Gretchen Wilson, Eddie Montgomery, Old Dominion, and Jarrod Niemann. With 27 shows performed in 2024 and new music on the way—including her single “Cryin’ On the Inside” dropping early 2025—Ashlyn is quickly becoming one to watch in country music.

Then, at 8:00pm, SMALL TOWN takes over the stage! Known as the nation’s best and most authentic John Mellencamp Experience, this seven-piece band captures over 30 years of Mellencamp’s iconic catalog with stunning musicianship and energy. Featuring violin, mandolin, accordion, melodica, keyboards, guitars, and drums, SMALL TOWN delivers all your favorites like Jack and Diane, Cherry Bomb, Pink Houses, Small Town, Hurts So Good, and many more.

The Wizard of Oz is a faithful stage adaptation of the beloved 1939 film, bringing to life the iconic story and music, including crowd favorites "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," "If I Only Had a Brain," and "Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead!". Dorothy Gale is swept away from Kansas to the magical land of Oz, where she encounters a variety of whimsical characters and faces dangers along the Yellow Brick Road in her quest to return home. She befriends a Scarecrow, a Tin Man, and a Cowardly Lion, each with a wish, and they journey to see the Wizard of Oz.

Memorial Opera House is thrilled to welcome Debutants for their first-ever performance on our stage. What began as a duo between longtime friends Lynn Nicholson and Jon Swain has grown into a dynamic 7-piece string band featuring two fiddles and a cello. No matter the configuration, their music radiates the joy they have playing together and the vibrant life they bring to every note.

Debutants’ evolution is captured across their acclaimed releases—from the Indiana Newgrass and Nobody Knows EPs to their full-length album River on the Moon, recorded live with the band gathered around just a few microphones. Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical. Into the Woods SR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.
