Our hotel accommodations will be at the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton in Rosemead, CA for the next four nights. You may want to enjoy a cocktail at the onsite RoseTree Bistro.

Day 2 (Dec. 30) This morning we head to the Float Barn, for a look at some of the stunning floats that will be featured in the Rose Parade. These extravagant creations are made by hundreds of volunteers. See the precise placement of each flower and how they must adhere to the requirement that everything on the float is comprised of organic material. Then we visit the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. The Huntington Library is comprised of three entities, the Library with its collection of rare and historic books including a Gutenburg Bible, the Huntington Art Gallery, devoted primarily to British and French art of the 18th and 19th centuries, including Gainsborough’s Blue Boy, and the Botanical Gardens, which features several themed gardens for your enjoyment.

Day 3 (Dec 31) Today you can enjoy highlights of the Los Angeles area, a bustling metropolis with a broad range of districts and neighborhoods. Lunch on your own will be at the famous Farmer's
NEW YEAR'S ROSE PARADE Market or stroll along the upscale shops of the Grove. You will have time to relax and freshen up at the hotel before our New Year’s Eve Party. The party is complete with a fabulous dinner, dancing, and a champagne toast to 2024! Dance to the sounds of our DJ as he plays your favorite melodies. Celebrate a traditional toast on New York Time with your new friends.

Day 4 (Jan. 1) Experience the excitement and beauty of the Tournament of Roses Parade! This is the 135th Rose Parade with the theme," Celebrating a World of Music: The Universal Language". You will see the beautiful pageantry and tradition of magnificent floral floats, high-stepping equestrians, and spirited marching bands. Viewed by over a million spectators, we will have reserved grandstand seats on the shady side of the street.. Following the parade, we head to the world renown Santa Anita Racetrack where you will be personally escorted to a rare “behind the scenes tour”. Meet some horses face to face before watching the races, rooting for your favorites and even winning some money. For more options we will run a shuttle between the racetrack and the hotel this afternoon for those who prefer watching the Rose Bowl Game on TV.

Day 5 (Jan. 2) After breakfast we bid farewell to sunny California as we travel back home.

TRAVEL INSURANCE is highly recommended for Trip Cancellation, Accident, Life, and Luggage coverage during the tour. You can use the travel insurance company of your choice.
