Roald Dahl's Matilda Jr. the Musical

Book by Dennis Kelly

Music and Lyrics by Tim Minchin

Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a gleefully witty ode to the the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the "revolting children" who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson.

Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence... and special powers! She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils' saving grace!

Festival of One Act Plays

Plan B by Robert Scott

Changing Rooms by Jackie Carreira

Fidelity Farce by Gary Diamond

The FOAP team is back with three brand new one act comedies complete with glorious bits of nonsense.

In Changing Rooms, the bride-to-be Sophia and her prospective mother-in-law Rosa are having difficulty choosing a mutually acceptable wedding gown. Meanwhile, Jo is trying to find a pair of Jeans to fit, Gemma is struggling with a top and her boyfriend Sam is wondering why he's spending so long waiting outside the cubicles. Fortunately, there's Maggie, the ever-smiling shop assistant, always on hand to offer some very pointed advice.

In Plan B, Richie's had a bit of an accident while preparing the anniversary dinner, and he and his wife Susan are now waiting in the emergency room at the hospital. Susan is more than a little disappointed, but perhaps some words from an eccentric stranger will help?

In Fidelity Farce, successful businessman Vincent Donaldson has booked a hotel room - the scene of a fling with his personal assistant. But he hasn't counted on the appearance of his wife, her sister (with whom he is also having an affair), and another woman from his past. Not to mention the room-service man...

Something Rotten!

Book by John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick

Music and Lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick.

An entertaining show filled with witty double-entendres and ironic cliches.  "Rotten" takes place in 1595 London, England.  The Bottom brothers, Nick and Nigel are trying to find success by writing plays, but are outshined by the rock-star playwright of the Renaissance, William Shakespeare.  Desperate to find success Nick gets help from a soothsayer for the next big hit.  Upon the prediction that the next theatre hit will be a "musical" the show transforms into musical theatre and Shakespearean references.
