For over 50 years, Encore Stage & Studio has given hundreds of thousands of young people the opportunity to grow and discover themselves through theatre: onstage, backstage, in the classroom, and in the audience. We bring high-quality, age-appropriate theatrical productions that are staffed by young people to our community and offer a vibrant selection of educational classes, workshops, and summer programs, including outreach to underserved children and youth with community partners.

Encore’s story is rich with successes on the stage and in the community, including 234 shows in its long history and new works in each of the past five seasons. Our unparalleled commitment to youth leadership and our artistic excellence set us apart from others.

Encore is committed to bringing the power of the arts and arts education to all children in the community. We keep ticket prices affordable for families. Children experiencing homelessness attend our spring break and summer camps through our partnerships with community non-profits. We provide scholarships to all of our educational programs.

We rely on donations to offer our breadth of theatre arts programming to children, youth, and families in our community.
