Connor Hangsleben is a nationally touring comedian currently based out of his home state of Minnesota. He tours the country with his insightful small town kid act, that has gotten featured on Jeff and Larry's Comedy Roundup on Sirius XM. After starting comedy in MInnesota, he quickly made the jump to Los Angeles where he became a regular performer at the Hollywood Improv. In 2019 he won the UareFunny comedy competition judged by Gina Wendklos, writer of The Princess Diaries and Coyote Ugly. He has opened for some of the biggest names in Comedy such as Darrell Hammond(SNL), Chris Kattan(SNL), and Tim Dillon(The Joe Rogan Experience).
If you are an aspiring comic and want to try out a few minutes of your material in front of a live audience, this is your chance. Before Conner takes the stage, there will be an Open Mic for those that want to give it a shot. Hey, it's how Seinfeld and Letterman started.

| Misery by William Goldman, based on the novel by Stephen King, follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his “Number One Fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads the manuscript to his newest novel and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new “Misery” novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere. | Enjoy an elegant evening out for adults and a wonderful addition to your Holiday traditions as former Sedalian, Eric Poindexter comes to the Liberty Center for this benefit concert.
Eric Poindexter is an NYC-based actor, singer, and teaching artist who has lived in New York for more than 20 years. He has starred in regional productions including Big River, The Color Purple, and the Off-Broadway production of The History of War. Eric is a longtime cast member of Symphony Space's Thalia Follies and was also part of the arts collective and accompanying podcast, In Your Face-New York. Additionally, he is an active performing member of the Yip Harburg Foundation. Eric's most recent role was as Govan Mbeki in the workshop showcase of Mandela the Musical, performed at New York City's Lincoln Center. He is excited to be back in his hometown and honored to perform at the Liberty Center.
