Set in the 1970's in the office of a makeshift taxi company serving the Hill District of Pittsburgh, August Wilson’s award-winning drama is an exploration of economic struggle, addiction, redemption and father/son relationships.

Produced in Partnership with The Baltimore August Wilson Celebration, Jitney is the eighth installment in the American Century Cycle, chronicling a century of Black American life.

FPCT is facing significant costs to repair our stage due to age and termite damage. Each purchase at the StageHand level provides additional revenue in support of our facilities needs.

No Refunds

Unfortunately, FPCT is not able to offer ticket refunds unless a show is cancelled. All sales are final. 

Exchange

FPCT allows you to exchange your tickets for free for another performance (of the SAME production) up until 24 hours before showtime. You can make exchanges online via the ticketing system here, or by clicking the link in your order confirmation email.

Tickets purchased for Pay-What-You-Can Previews cannot be exchanged.

Wait List

For sold out shows, an *in person only* waitlist will be taken at the door one hour before showtime. Reservations for the waitlist will not be taken by phone or email.


Parking

FPCT strongly suggests guests allow plenty of time to find parking. Free parking is available throughout the neighborhood. Metered parking is available on Broadway (be sure to check the meter times; they can vary block to block). FPCT is not responsible for any tickets or towing you may receive.


If you arrive after the show begins we cannot guarantee that we will be able to seat you. If a show is sold out, your seats will not be held for you after show time.
