Join us to celebrate the arrival of spring with a rich and colorful tapestry of music from Baroque and folk genres. Music by Baroque masters Geminiani and Telemann is woven together with folk music from a variety of traditions: Swedish, Polish, English, Scottish, Appalachian, and Karuk (indigenous in northern California). Our full string orchestra of 14 players is joined by guest fiddler Ryan Drickey for a program overflowing with surprise and delight!

| Bach's Goldberg Variations, With Strings Attached
Our ensemble, led by Cynthia Miller Freivogel, reprises a beloved masterwork: J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations. This exquisite theme with 30 kaleidoscopic variations has captured listeners' imaginations for generations. BCOC violist and arranger Alexander Vittal has created a superb interpretation for strings that highlights the extraordinary talents of our ensemble and its individual players.
