When was the last time you heard an orchestra play in a hangar from your seat on the tarmac? You’ve come to expect the unexpected from your JSO, and so here goes...announcing our first-ever, one-night-only airport concert, with a star-studded program with music from Top Gun, Jefferson Airplane, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Billy Joel, E.T., and Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony.

This is a community celebration, so arrive early for food and beverage available for purchase, tour the grounds and experience the planes up close. This is an outdoor concert - rain or shine!

There is no parking for this concert at the airport itself, so we have arranged for shuttles from two large parking areas to bring you to the concert.

Shuttles will start at 5:30 p.m. and make frequent trips from the following two locations:

• Home Depot at 679 Galleria Drive Ext, Johnstown PA 15904

• Lowe's at 630 Solomon Run Road, Johnstown, PA 15904

These buses, generously provided by McIlwain Charters, will drop you off RIGHT at the performance seating area! They will arrive to return you to your car immediately following the concert. We ask for your patience as you may have to wait, but we are doing our best to get you to the concert safely and swiftly.
