Emmy Blotnick has deep thoughts about shallow subjects. Whether it’s Amazon reviews, dog grooming or teen pop music, her hilarious takes on modern American culture are always more sharp and insightful than our ridiculous times deserve. As a stand-up, Emmy has performed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, Comedy Central, and is a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!. As a TV writer, she was nominated for an Emmy (no relation) for her work on The Late Show, and has also written for numerous other shows including The Comedy Central Roast, @midnight and Best Week Ever. The New York Times calls her “a rising star with a comic, ‘Black Mirror’ view of culture” and we cannot wait to welcome her to Corvallis!
