| Do You Wanna Go? A Musical Odyssey
June 22 - July 3, 2025
Music and lyrics written by David Nehls.
Playing in the Bond-Trimble Theatre
Do you wanna go… on a musical ride you’ll never forget?
Vintage Theatre presents Do You Wanna Go? a wildly funny, deeply personal, and oh-so-gay musical odyssey by David Nehls, the brilliant mind behind The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Miss Rhythm-The Legend Of Ruth Brown, and Killer Wigs from Outer Space.
Inspired by Nehls’ real-life adventures as a traveling actor in Greece, this original show blends rock, blues, and heartfelt storytelling into one unforgettable night. With original songs, real stories, and more charm than should be legally allowed onstage.
In proud partnership with The Center on Colfax, this production shines a spotlight on LGBTQ+ voices and community impact. Proceeds from signed poster sales will benefit The Center, and representatives will be on-site during the run to connect with audiences.
And the celebration doesn’t stop when the lights come up. Stick around after each performance for a post-show drag set featuring some of Denver’s fiercest queens. Think big wigs, bold moves, and enough sequins to short-circuit the stage lights. ✨
This isn’t just a show. It’s a whole night out.
Do You Wanna Go? runs June 22–July 3 at Vintage Theatre.

| Absurd Hero: The Musical
July 18 - July 21, 2025
Created by April Alsup
Directed by Kelly McAllister.
Playing in the Nickelson Auditorium
For Albert Camus, the Absurd Hero is embodied in the mythological character of Sisyphus, mayor of Corinth, sentenced by Zeus to the mundane task of pushing a boulder up a hill only to see it roll back down for eternity. In our present-day version of the myth, Sid must persuade the homeless Gods to cooperate with city hall if he wants to be mayor. The Absurd Hero acknowledges the absurdity of life, yet chooses to celebrate it with purpose and passion. Oh how the tables have turned on the Olympians in 2025.
