Right Before I Go by Stan Zimmerman (The Golden Girls, Roseanne, Gilmore Girls) brings to life the last words written in letters by individuals lost to suicide — including celebrities, veterans, kids that were bullied, LGBTQ, and the clinically depressed — and those who have survived suicide attempts. Since its acclaimed first performance at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2015, the play has traveled across the country, raising awareness and offering hope for suicide prevention.
Audience members are invited to stay for a Q&A with a mental health professional as well as the cast and creators of Right Before I Go immdeiately following the performance.

This production is part of Amplify — an initiative to address the inequality in performing arts programming. The Grammy nominated St. Petersburg Quartet has enjoyed an illustrious international career as one of the world’s most esteemed string quartets. Considered the “natural successor to the Borodin [Quartet's] crown” (The Sunday Times), their rise to fame includes “Best Record” honors in Stereo Review and Gramophone, an opening night performance at the Mostly Mozart festival of Lincoln Center, a five-year residency at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, a five-year residency at the Wichita State University, and hundreds of concerts throughout North America, Europe, and Asia at prestigious series and festivals.
Liu Ziyu, born in 1998, is widely regarded as one of the most outstanding and influential young Chinese pianists of the post-95 generation. He is known for his unique artistic identity and has quickly become one of the most active and prominent rising stars in the classical music scene. In 2024, Liu launched a world tour titled “Outlook,” performing in major concert halls across nearly 40 cities worldwide, including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Vienna’s Golden Hall, and Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts. His performances have garnered significant industry attention.
Dr. Yaqi Wang is a distinguished pianist, educator, and arts administrator currently completing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Kansas (anticipated Dec 2024). With a rich academic foundation, she holds a Graduate Professional Diploma from the University of Hartford’s Hartt School, a Master of Music from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Music from Tianjin Conservatory of Music. | Buy Tickets |

Ziyu Liu is widely regarded as one of the most outstanding and influential young Chinese pianists of the post-95 generation, a Prestige Award concert pianist, including the Giovan Battista Viotti International Music Competition, making him the first Chinese winner in its 70-year history. He has also excelled in competitions like the Van Cliburn, International Chopin Competition in Poland, and ARD, and he holds top placements in the International German Piano Award and the Città de Cantù International Piano and Orchestra Competition.

These Shining Lives chronicles the true story of women working at the Radium Dial Company in the 1920s. Lured by good wages, these women painted watch dials with luminous, radium-based paint, unaware of the devastating health consequences. As they fall ill, the play follows their fight for justice against a corporation that values profit over the lives of its employees, bravely illuminating a dark chapter in American labor history and exploring themes of corporate negligence, female resilience, and the enduring need for workers’ rights.
