The Holly Springs Playhouse presents James and the Giant Peach through our children's theatre program. This show is for kids, by kids!
About the Play: James, after losing his parents, is forced to live with his cruel aunts, Spiker and Sponge. One day, he receives magical crocodile tongues from a mysterious man, which he accidentally spills near a peach tree. This causes a giant peach to grow in the garden. James ventures inside and discovers a group of alking insects who become his friends. Together, they embark on a fantastical journey across the Atlantic Ocean in the giant peach, facing various challenges and ultimately landing in New York City, where they become heroes and find a new, loving family.

Enjoy the concert from the ball park or from the infield. Both seating areas are general admission. Infield lawn does not have fixed seating but you are allowed to bring your own beach chair.
Stadium gates open to at 5:30pm. Opening act begins at 6:30pm. Food and drinks are available at the stadium concessions.

With lush horn sections and swinging rhythms, Route 55 Jazz Orchestra transforms these theatrical favorites into bold, brassy arrangements that honor the originals while delivering the unmistakable energy of live jazz.
