By Mabelle Reynoso
November 11th - December 7th, 2025
In the play “Young Audiences,” twenty-something Ellie Sanchez is a teaching artist at a prominent children’s theatre who has just gotten her big break--she has been commissioned to write a play for the young people in her Latinx community. When the theatre pulls out of her project to do Hamlet Jr. the musical, Ellie is determined to make her show go on by any means necessary, even if it means getting financial support from the local drug cartel. “Young Audiences” is a dark comedy that explores cultural hegemony, the importance of representation, and the ethical dilemma of accepting money from donors who actively contribute to the downfall of society. | Buy Tickets |
