LET THERE BE SWING

The program will feature the Tidewater Winds Big Band playing some of the original arrangements from the Glenn Miller Christmas Songbook, music from Jazz at the Lincoln Center, and even a couple of charts from Tommy Newsom as performed by Doc Severinsen and the Tonight Show Band! Yes, Glenn Miller recorded two wonderful holiday albums in his day, and we can't wait to show off some of his great work! Mrs. Danielle Roby joins the Winds to sing such holiday favorites as “Everybody’s Waitin’ for the Man with Bag”, “Let it Snow!” and a lovely version of “Silver Bells”. 45 SECONDS FROM BROADWAY

From America's master of Contemporary Broadway Comedy, here is another revealing comedy behind the scenes in the entertainment world, this time near the heart of the theatre district. 45 Seconds from Broadway takes place in the legendary "Polish Tea Room" on New York's 47th Street. Here Broadway theatre personalities washed-up and on-the-rise, gather to schmooz even as they lose. This touching valentine to New York offers great acting roles as Neil Simon continues his exploration of the foibles and funny in the human comedy.

45 Seconds from Broadway is presented through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

RIPCORD

A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden.

Ripcord is presented through special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

THE PRODUCERS

THIS SHOW IS NOT PART OF THE 2024-2025 SEASON PASS.

Bialystock and Bloom! Those names should strike terror and hysteria in anyone familiar with Mel Brooks' classic cult comedy film. Now as a big Broadway musical, The Producers once again sets the standard for modern, outrageous, in-your-face humor. It is a truly "boffo" hit, winning a record twelve Tony Awards!

The plot is simple: a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (all "little old ladies") out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show (the gloriously offensive "Springtime for Hitler"), hiring a director, raising the money and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction. At the core of the insanely funny adventure is a poignant emotional journey of two very different men who become friends.

The Producers is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
