Come From Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs...who just happened to be there too. Wayne Hopkins is a regular boy who finds out he’s a wizard and goes to the same certain Wizard School where he makes two best friends and has adventures. This perhaps sounds familiar.
