The play is inspired by the real-life case of convicted and executed murderer, Ruth Snyder. 	PETER AND THE STARCATCHER November 21 - 24 & December 5 - 8, 2024 J Studio, URI Fine Arts Center This Tony Award-winning play with music upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan became Peter Pan. Adapted from the novels by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, playwright Rick Elice playfully delivers marauding pirates, jungle tyrants, and unlikely heroes and comrades. 	BAKKHAI February 27 - March 2, 2025 J Studio, URI Fine Arts Center A stunning, new translation of Euripides' play by poet and classicist Anne Carson. Carson writes, “Euripides was a playwright of the fifth century BC who reinvented Greek tragedy, setting it on a path that leads straight to reality TV. His plays broke all the rules, upended convention and outraged conservative critics. *Bakkhai* is his most subversive play, telling the story of a man who cannot admit he would rather live in the skin of a woman, and a god who seems to combine all sexualities into a single ruinous demand for adoration." 	GUYS AND DOLLS April 17 - 19 & 23 - 27, 2025 Robert E. Will Theatre, URI Fine Arts Center Hailed as the perfect musical comedy, this award-winning classic gambles with luck and love under the bright lights of Broadway. The student-run box office will open during the day in H101 of the Fine Arts Center beginning in early October, 2024. If you need to purchase your tickets in person, check back then to see our daily hours.

**Our box office is also open one hour before curtain time for each performance.

COVID Policies

The University no longer requires community members to wear masks indoors when attending performances. This policy will remain in effect until further notice while we assess transmission rates on our campus when we come back together.
