This year’s BHM show is titled Black for Eternity. We are honouring the symbol of the ankh, which is an ancient Egyptian symbol representing eternal life and the cycle of life and death. In life, we cycle through joy and disappointment, love and fear, and all our individual journeys contribute to the eternal black community. We will all become ancestors. We celebrate life and the fact that our community grows with every generation. So our show celebrates black history while making black history.
This year we have moved to an Assembly-Model, so we are only able to offer a small number of seats for parents and guardians of the cast to join the event. If parents/guardians are interested in attending the show, tickets will be $10, and we are limiting the number of tickets to 2 per family.
You have three options for attendance:
1) Assembly A - Feb. 12th 12:45-1:55pm
2) Assembly B - Feb. 12th 2:00-3:15pm
3) Royalty Night (invites BHM Alumni to see the show, then participate in an open-mic) - Feb. 13th 5pm
