Prelude to a Kiss

May 1–17, 2026

Fridays at 8 pm
Saturdays & Sundays at 2 pm
Special Evening Performance
May 16th at 8pm

What if the person you love... suddenly wasn’t in their own body?

When Peter and Rita fall in love, it’s fast, funny, and deeply romantic. But on their wedding day, a mysterious stranger’s kiss changes everything—sending Rita’s soul into the stranger’s body and testing the very meaning of love, commitment, and identity. Part fairy tale, part philosophical journey, this emotionally rich play is a modern classic about loving someone for who they truly are.

Prelude to a Kiss is tender, funny, and unexpectedly profound. It’s perfect for anyone who’s ever asked: Would you still love me if everything changed?

Directed by Eb Madson, whose honest, human-centered storytelling invites you to lean in close, this production promises warmth, wonder, and a touch of magic. By Craig Lucas Presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

Snow White Fractured: A Bad Apple Never Tasted So Good!

June 12–28, 2026

Fridays at 8 pm
Saturdays & Sundays at 2 pm
Special Evening Performance
June 27th at 8pm

The mirror’s cracked. The apple bites back. And Snow What? She’s not here to be saved.

It’s Surfside’s signature season sendoff—a Bryan Bergeron fractured fairy tale with twisted humor, campy characters, and original music! In this wild reimagining of Snow White, nothing is sacred and everything is up for parody. Expect smug mirrors, musical mischief, and villains with way too much personality.

Written and directed by Bryan Bergeron with music by Kim Dickman, this Surfside Original is a community favorite for a reason. You’ll laugh, you’ll cheer, and you’ll leave wondering what on earth you just watched—in the best way possible. Bring your crew and end the season with the kind of joyful chaos you can only find on the Surfside stage.
