| | 1. REQUIEM AND REBIRTH
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2025, 4:00 PM
Experience the profound beauty of Mozart's timeless Requiem (KV 626) paired with the contemporary power of Timothy Takach's We Fall, We Rise. This moving concert explores themes of loss, transformation, and renewal through two masterworks separated by centuries yet united in their emotional depth. Mozart's final composition, completed by his student Franz Süssmayr, stands as one of the most beloved works in the choral repertoire, while Takach's We Fall, We Rise offers a modern meditation on resilience and hope. Join us for an unforgettable evening that celebrates the eternal cycle of endings and new beginnings. Join Dr. Hanawalt and Tim Takach for a pre-concert chat at 3 PM in the concert hall (entry via North lobby doors).
