About the play:

Young Will Shakespeare has writer's block. The deadline for his new play is fast approaching, but he's in desperate need of inspiration. That is, until he finds his muse... the feisty, brilliant and beautiful Viola. This crafty young woman is Will’s greatest admirer and will stop at nothing (including breaking the law) to appear in his next play. Against a bustling background of mistaken identity, ruthless scheming and backstage theatrics, Will’s love for Viola quickly blossoms, inspiring him to write his greatest romantic masterpiece.

“Endlessly witty, visually rapturous, and sweetly romantic, Shakespeare in Love is a delightful romantic comedy that succeeds on nearly every level.” — The Chicago Sun Times

Shakespeare in Love is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com

TEEN SHAKESPEARE WORKSHOP

ROMEO AND JULIET

Cutting and notes by Lindsay Price from the original Shakespeare

Directed by Lisa Formosa-Parmigiano

Our teens will be presenting a 60 minute version of what is generally considered Shakespeare's most popular play. This version features the actual language of Shakespeare, iambic pentameter and all.

We know that some audience members struggle with the language of Shakespeare, but we all know this story!

Please come support our teens and the incredible work they've put in this summer.
