Dalton Chamber Choir Spring Concert 2019  Daybreak

The Creative Arts Guild's Dalton Chamber Choir will present their Spring Concert, Daybreak. Saturday, May 11, 2019. Adam Burnette, Choir Music Director, describes the concert  “Through a contemplative labyrinth of sacred repertoire and selected poetry of Dickinson, Teasdale, Whitman and Langston Hughes, the program will touch the essence of loss – the heaviness and desolation of darkness – and move gradually into a wider, brighter space of hope and peace.” Loosely following the format of the requiem mass, the concert will feature pieces composed by Durufle, Faure, Brahms, Rheinberger, Esenvalds, and others.

The concert takes place at the Guild, located at 520 West Waugh Street in Dalton, GA on Saturday, May 11th at 8pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors over 65 and all students.
