Fearless front-woman Derina Harvey leads this Celtic Rock sensation, recent winners of the People’s Choice Award at the 2018 Edmonton Music Awards. With a show that offers a fresh take on traditional folk songs as well as a few originals, the Derina Harvey Band has a rocky, rhythmic undertow layered with guitars, fiddle, and topped by Derina’s powerful voice and vibrant personality. According to The Celtic Show, the band has built their reputation through high-energy live shows “bringing color to your cheeks and creating music and joy that will fill your heart and soul.” This talented Canadian quintet also features Edward Smith on bass, Jess Blenis on violin, Scott Green on electric guitar, and Steve Pinsent on drums.
