Lissie grew up in Rock Island, Illinois, near the Mississippi River, speaking her mind and writing songs from an early age. Earlier this year Lissie released When I’m Alone: The Piano Retrospective, featuring piano arrangements of Lissie’s best-loved, career-defining tunes along with 2 new cover songs. Lissie’s previous album Castles was her first album to reach the top ten of the UK Album charts, debuting at #9. It also received acclaim from critics, with The Times saying that Castles is "Her best album yet”. Lissie appeared in the most recent season of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks with NME saying of her “intense” performance: “Closing the episode with the Stevie Nicks-esque ‘Wild West,’ Rock Island’s most exciting troubadour more than earned her Lynch-commissioned screen time.”
