2019 CELEBRATION OF MUSIC
"AN EVENING WITH SONORAN SKIES"

This year’s Celebration of Music, “An Evening with Sonoran Skies”, is a dual performance production by the Sonoran Skies band and four very special guest performers, all of whom are Sun City Grand musicians. The Sonoran Skies band continues to expand its eclectic repertoire of pop music from the 50's through the 90's and will present all new selections for its portion of the program while serving as musical accompaniment and vocal backup for the guest performers. The guests include:
SANDY GREENBERG -- her vocals are reminiscent of singers like Olivia Newton-John and Carly Simon. Sandy has sung in many of the SCG Music Club events as well as being an active participant in SCG Drama & Comedy Club productions.
CHUCK SPADAFORE -- is a multi-talented SCG guitarist and singer who brings to the stage some great acoustic guitar adaptations of well-known classic rock songs.
JIM WARD -- has appeared in many Music Club programs, lending his deep bass vocals to choral songs as well as various small vocal groups. In this year's Celebration of Music, Jim will provide his unique vocal backup for several songs throughout the program.
JEAN MCCURDY -- brings ballads to life with some soulful renditions of songs that are filled with imagination, inspiration, and hope.
