After Brick Pollitt injures himself while drunkenly revisiting his high school glory-days, he and his wife, Maggie, visit his family's Mississippi plantation for the birthday celebration of his hot-tempered father, Big Daddy. Confronted by a lifetime of his family’s lies and goaded by the wily Maggie, Brick unveils the truth about a tragic secret so profound, it may cut him out of the family fortune forever.
