This four-man string band based in Buenos Aires combines their instrumental prowess with tight vocal harmonies. They created an authentic blend of genres reflecting their lives. With members from Argentina, Mexico and the United States, Che Apalache began as a bluegrass band, then incorporated Latin American styles into their repertoire creating a powerful cultural and musical exchange. Their debut album, 'Latingrass,' evokes images from Appalacia to the Andes. Produced by banjo great, Bela Fleck, Che Apalache's second album released in August 2019 made Rolling Stone's July 2019 list of 10 best Contry and Americana songs to hear now! With lyrics bouncing between English and Spanish, the new album cooks up a worldly mix of Appalachian bluegrass and Latin folk.
