Juilliard Trombone Choir

Under the direction of Joseph Alessi, The Juilliard Trombone Choir is a two time winner of the International Trombone Choir Competition. The choir was founded by Joseph Alessi in the early 1990’s and is made up of undergraduate and graduate classical trombone majors from The Juilliard School. Members of the Juilliard Trombone Choir have gone on to play with such orchestras as The Atlanta Symphony, Chicago Lyric Opera, Kennedy Center Orchestra, Charlotte Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Philadelphia Orchesrta, The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, The Pittsburgh Symphony, The Saint Louis Symphony, The Buffalo Philharmonic, The San Antonio Symphony, The Jacksonville Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Minnesota Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, New York City Opera, Honolulu Symphony, Dallas Symphony, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, Singapore Symphony, Deutsche Opera, Zurich Opera Orchestra, Frankfurt Oper, Seattle Symphony, and The New York Philharmonic.
