Arts, Science, Culture...it's all better up here.

Flagstaff 2030 began with a day-long reflection by the Flagstaff Arts Council board of directors in April 2019. That meeting dug deep into our nonprofit mission, the successes and opportunities that have emerged over two decades of arts-focused leadership, and what mattered to us as citizens, artists, scientists, activists, and business people for the future of our community.

Since that meeting, we’ve focused on the three pillars explained above. Those pillars represent potentially game-changing ideas. We want to make sure that the community has an opportunity to shape the vision that guides them.

Our process begins with a public meeting on Wednesday, October 16 at 5:30pm. From there, we will work to include as many stakeholders as possible through focus groups, interviews, and at least one community survey.
