Fidalgo DanceWorks is excited to announce that their production of The Nutcracker will perform againb this year at the historic Lincoln Theater. The Nutcracker is a two-act ballet, originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The libretto is adapted from E. T. A. Hoffmann's story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. It was given its premiere at the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg on Sunday, 18 December 1892. This production will feature students in Pre-Ballet – Ballet 7. We hope that many of you will join us for this timeless, holiday classic.
