Dalton State Trio

Dalton State College and the Creative Arts Guild welcome the Dalton State Trio. The trio consists of Ronda Ford - flute, Ellie Jenkins – horn, and Eric Hanson – double bass. They will be accompanied by pianist Lillian Buss Pearson. The recital will feature an eclectic mix of works for varied combinations of flute, horn, double bass, piano and guitar. Among those works are premieres (either state or national) of works commissioned by the performers.

Ronda Ford is an Instructor of Flute at UTC, and has performed at conferences for the College Music Society, the National Flute Association as well as orchestras throughout the United States and the International Flute Orchestra in Europe.

Ellie Jenkins joined the faculty at Dalton State College in 2010. An active performer, she is principal horn in the Carroll Symphony and the Chamber Players of the South, and second horn with the Rome Symphony Orchestra.

Eric Hanson holds positions at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Cadek Conservatory, Dalton State College and Berry College. He performs regularly with the Rome, Carroll and Huntsville Symphony Orchestras.

The concert will be held Thursday, October 17th at 7:30pm at the Guild at 520 West Waugh Street in Dalton. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors over 65 and non-DSC students.
