Glenn Miller Concert & Fundraiser Event

The Search For Glenn Miller's Aircraft Is On

Saturday, January 25 at 2:00pm

"A Tribute to Glenn Miller" Concert by the Sarasota Jazz Club Band
& Keynote Speaker Dr. James D'Angelo, Committee Chairman of The Glenn Miller Project

Major Glenn Miller, renowned bandleader, arranger and composer, of the 1930s and 1940s lost his life in an UC-64 Norseman single engine aircraft over the English Channel on December 15, 1944. This is the 75th remembrance of that event.

A Sarasota Committee has joined with Search, Inc. to locate and recover the remains of his downed aircraft. The concert will be a fundraiser event to aid in the search. Voluntary contributions are welcomed. Checks should be made out to "The Glenn Miller Project" and sent to Dan Kennedy at 2352 Burton Lane, Sarasota, Fl 34239. Donations are tax-deductible.
