(New Play Workshop) + Sci-Fi Shorts

Sunday, November 17 @ 2pm

Part of a 2 weekend SciFi event! See one show for $10 or all 4 for $30!

What happens in a world without men? In the year 2020, a virus attached itself to the male chromosome. Over a two year span, every last man on the Earth died. Twenty five years later, four friends visit each other for the first time in over a decade, when suddenly…a man appears. The Poolhouse Project in association with Lonesome Whistle Productions present the first ever staged reading of a brand new science fiction play from the dynamic writer-director duo of Michael Shantz and Kristen Fogle (The Quote, We The People) as part of Onstage Playhouse’s New Play Development Workshops. The audience will have the chance to give feedback. The program also features readings of short new science fiction plays from the writers of “Space Force!” Written by Michael Shantz. Directed by Kristen Fogle. “Cleverly crafted, with moments of painful parallels to our current issues, along with some nice humor” (Tucson.com).Throughout the weekends, we will debut readings of original short science fiction plays from local playwrights and hold talkbacks with special guests
