High Strung Strummers

High Strung Strummers (Cathy Mason and Sarah Jane Nelson) present: Folklore of the Fiddler in Ballads, Stories, and Tunes, a mix of Anglo-American ballads, old-time tunes, and stories often as a Crankie narrative scroll. There will be special emphasis on the life and music of an African American fiddler from Missouri named Bill Driver who was a favorite among local dancers and lived to be 104!

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Waltham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. 

This program takes place in the spacious Events Tent at Gore Place. Parking is free. Local Covid 19 restrictions apply.
