THE GREENBANK BLACKLIGHT PUPPETEERS HOLIDAY SHOW

Performance: December 8, 3:00 PM

Presented by the Town Hall Theatre

A special benefit performance supporting Town Hall Theatre! Town Hall Theatre proudly hosts the Greenbank Blacklight Puppeteers, a group of talented local youth, grades 7 to 12, in a mind-blowing 90-minute blacklight puppet show. Do you remember that feeling when your heart nearly beats out of your chest with excitement when you wake up to that first glistening snowfall of the Christmas season? The Greenbank Blacklight Puppeteers bring you this same feeling of wonder, awe, excitement, and fun with their show!! 18 local youth puppeteers and stage hands (Grades 7-12) will amaze you as they bring songs to life with their puppets, innovation, and hundreds of props!
This group that fosters teamwork, creativity, and dedication in our youth was established in our community 27 years ago and traditionally perform at the Greenbank United Church to sold-out crowds. In 2018, they were the opener for country recording artist Leah Daniels’ "Home for the Holidays" concert with Beverley Mahood and Friends and they are excited to perform on stage at Town Hall Theatre this year! This is a family show that will spark your imagination and bring a twinkle of wonder to your eyes no matter if you are 2 or 92 years old! Grandparents and parents, this is the show to bring your grandkids and children to! You will be sure to leave with joy in your hearts, and maybe scratching your head as you ask yourself how these puppeteers do the magic they do!!
