6 Guitars

Featuring Chase Padgett

Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 7pm

at the Port Angeles Performing Arts Center

6 Guitars is a pitch-perfect blend of music, comedy, and characters. A single performer portrays six different guitarists, each embodying a unique style of music. As the show unfolds, audiences are treated to powerful songs from multiple genres that showcase expert musicianship. All of this is impressively accomplished with just one performer and one, solo guitar. An amazing feat to say the least.

Rich in humor, 6 Guitars follows each character, from a young rock prodigy to a weary blues picker, each sharing hilarious anecdotes that only a life of playing music can provide. Chase Padgett’s well- crafted performance delivers these moving stories which capture the power of music and its ability to shape lives. You don’t need to play music to love this show. You just need to love music.

Chase Padgett has been a professional actor and musician for most of his adult life. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music he started working full time acting at Disney and Universal Studios where he played the Grinch, Beetlejuice, and other memorable characters. In 2010 he premiered his first solo show ‘6 Guitars’ which became one of the most successful shows across the Canadian Fringe Festival circuit in recent years by winning awards and setting box office records.
