Aulcie Perry, an African-American Basketball player from the Newark Ghetto, found international glory in the Holy Land when he helped Maccabi Tel Aviv win the 1977 European Championship (as seen in DJFF Audience Award winner ON THE MAP). Aulcie moved to Israel, converted to Judaism, changed his name to Elisha Ben Abraham, and began dating Israeli supermodel Tami Ben Ami. But when his charmed life came to a dramatic halt, he was forced to confront his own demons and his fall from grace.
