A landmark in American drama, Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Our Town tells the story of a small town, Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire at the beginning of the 20th century. At the same time, it tells us the story of every town, the whole world over. Narrated by the “Stage Manager”, this play-within-a-play follows two families from Grover’s Corners through twelve years of life changes -- from the mundane in Act One to the romantic in Act Two to the devastating in the final act.  The play is performed without a set on a mostly bare stage, and the actors mime their actions without the use of props.
