No Small Matter

No Small Matters is a 75 minute documentary focusing on the first 2000 hours of a child's life and the importance of interactions with parents, family members, and peers. It discusses the changes in how children are being raised, how and when young children learn and the need for high-quality, play based preschool programs and the long term outcomes of such programs. After the screening, there will be a panel discussion including a member of Gov. Pritzer's Early Childhood Commission. This event is open to everyone who is interested in the welfare and education of our area's youngest learners. Professional developmental credit will be available for educators, Early Intervention educators, and day care staff.
