Mothers' Day Concert

Join the musicians of our Chamber Ensemble for a special concert in memory of Randi Nelson.

The feature of the afternoon will be the premiere of new work by Saskatoon composer Kendra Harder written for Mistral 5, the SSO's wind quintet. Harder's work has been showcased across Canada and she has been a recent favourite of Mistral 5, so there is much excitement around this event.

The new work will be work-shopped by Mistral 5 throughout the season, allowing both artists and composer to fully explore the creative process.

The rest of the program centres around pieces chosen because in memory of our beloved Flute Emeritus Randi Nelson.
