Dry Weather Wind, by local playwright Kai Elijah Hamilton, is part of The Magnetic Theatre's New Play Development program. Come see new work-in-progress, presented as a "live" reading on Zoom.

When Billie finds out her closeted gay son, Rain, is being bullied she must fight the school system to make a radical change. Meanwhile, homelife has reached a boiling point, and Rain contemplates running away with a seductive, older man. This searing family-drama packs an emotional punch like
Tennessee Williams and makes an important statement on bullying and homophobia that's necessary for today's audiences.

With Heather Bronson, Matt Edwardsen, Gaia Eggert, Delina Hensley, Lara Hollaway, Emily Tynan McDaniel, and Miles Rice. Directed by Jessica Johnson.
