Annual FESTIVAL of Fine Arts and Crafts

The Creative Arts Guild’s annual FESTIVAL of Fine Arts and Crafts brings regional artists to the Guild for a weekend full of arts experiences. Enjoy the Outdoor Artist Market, Indoor Art Exhibit, live music and performances each day and multicultural experiences and activities for kids in our Children's Hill.

FESTIVAL kicks off on Friday, September 18 with “The Taste of Dalton” – our annual Festival Preview Party – featuring a tasting menu from local restaurants. The Preview Party also serves as an artist reception for all Indoor Juried Gallery Exhibit artists and first oppportunity to visit and purchase from the Indoor Exhibit against a backdrop of live Jazz Music.

Preview Party: Taste of Dalton 2020 has been reimagined to accommodate precautionary guidelines in consideration of COVID-19. Masks are required for attendance, food and beverages will be served outside among our newly installed Robert T. Webb sculpture garden pieces, patrons will be screened for temperature and symptoms at check in and patrons will be allowed inside the building to view the Indoor FESTIVAL Patron Exhibit, make purchases, and to cast votes for the “People’s Choice Award” in rotation to accommodate having only 45 people inside the building at any given time.
